Overview
Trimax builds the Razor XTR as an adjustable drop hitch in polished aluminum. It plugs into the receiver and adjusts the trailer coupling height.
Owners of light trailers get an adjustable height with a stated rating. A modest towing capacity limits it to small loads, and hardware extras go unmentioned.
Who it's for
Light trailer owners with a two inch receiver who want a height-adjustable mount will use it directly. Heavy haulers and anyone needing a ball and pin should check what else to buy.
Pros and cons
- Universal fit listed
- Towing capacity stated
- Ball and pin not mentioned
- Limited towing capacity
- Weight seems high for the listed material
Performance notes
Adjustable drop sets the coupler height, so the trailer rides level behind the tow vehicle. Aluminum is lighter than steel but lower in rating, which is the reason for the modest towing capacity.
