Overview
The listed weight of 0.7 ounces is unusually light for a full cutting tool, so it may reflect a blade or component rather than the complete unit.
Cutter and shear listings sometimes carry a component weight rather than the total product weight, and that looks likely here given how far 0.7 ounces sits below typical full-size cutting tools. Confirming actual size and heft before buying is worth the extra step.
- Model 50-0675
- Alloy steel construction
- 0.7 ounce listed weight
Who it's for
Suits buyers needing a small alloy steel cutter for light-duty snipping, given the very light listed weight. Not ideal for anyone needing a heavy-duty shear for thick material without first confirming actual size and cutting capacity.
Pros and cons
- Alloy steel blade and handle
- 0.7 ounce weight is unusually light, worth confirming
- Sold as a single piece only
Performance notes
Alloy steel construction on both blade and handle should hold up to repeated light-duty cuts, though the 0.7 ounce weight listed is far lighter than most full-size cutters, so confirming actual dimensions before assuming heavy-duty capacity is worthwhile. It ships as a single piece.
