Overview
Amazing Herbs sells cold-pressed nigella sativa in capsule form, 90 unflavored capsules per bottle, gluten-free and marketed for digestive and immune support.
Cold pressing is a processing detail worth noting because it avoids the heat that can degrade some of the oil's compounds, distinguishing this from black seed oil extracted with heat or solvents. The capsule format is a more concentrated way to take the oil than a gummy, without the flavoring or added honey seen in some competing products.
- Cold-pressed nigella sativa oil
- 90 capsules per bottle
- Gluten-free formula
- Unflavored capsule
Who it's for
Suits people who want black seed oil in a straightforward capsule without added flavors or gummy sugars. Less suited to anyone who prefers a gummy or liquid format over swallowing capsules.
Pros and cons
- No added flavoring or sugar as in gummy versions
- Capsule format requires swallowing rather than chewing
- No stated thymoquinone percentage for potency comparison
- Single pack size offered
Performance notes
Cold pressing extracts the oil from nigella sativa seeds without added heat, a method intended to preserve more of the oil's natural compounds than heat or solvent based extraction. Capsules deliver the oil in a fixed, unflavored dose per serving.
