Overview
The Sunnydaze Cosmic fire pit is a 42-inch wood-burning steel fire bowl with a 34-inch diameter interior, star and moon cutouts, and an included spark screen, grate, and poker for backyard or patio use.
At 28.4 pounds and roughly ten minutes to assemble by attaching the legs and outer rim, this sits between a small tabletop fire bowl and a built-in masonry pit, portable enough to move but large enough for full-size logs and a group of 6 to 8 around it. The cutout pattern is decorative during the day and functional at night, casting light through the steel as the fire burns.
- 34-inch fire bowl, 41.5-inch outer ring
- Painted heat-ready steel construction
- Includes spark screen, wood grate, and poker
- Star and moon cutout design
Who it's for
Households wanting a larger wood-burning gathering fire pit for a patio, deck, or backyard, sized for a group rather than solo use. Not for anyone wanting a gas fire pit or a compact tabletop size.
Pros and cons
- 34-inch bowl fits full-size logs for groups
- 360-degree cutouts improve airflow and burn quality
- Includes spark screen, grate, and poker
- Assembles in about ten minutes
- Not a compact option for small patios
- Needs regular ash cleanout and a dry storage spot to resist rust
Performance notes
The 360-degree cutouts around the bowl pull air in from every direction, which the design credits for hotter, steadier burns compared to a solid-walled pit. The mesh spark screen catches embers while the elevated grate lets air reach the wood from below, and the poker doubles as a tool for lifting that hot screen off without touching it directly.
