Overview
Young builders who like to stack and test get blocks, rails, funnels and a seesaw for tall, spiraling marble runs. Hape includes an idea booklet and a free app, and the pieces work with every other Quadrilla set.
Stacking blocks quickly and rebuilding new layouts has kids experimenting with balance and slope. Compatibility means the run can grow with add-on sets. Tall builds wobble on carpet, so a hard floor or table is needed.
Who it's for
Kids from four up who enjoy building challenges, and parents who like to build with them, will get lasting play. Families with toddlers who put marbles in their mouths should wait.
Pros and cons
- Builds tall, spiral runs
- Works with all Quadrilla sets
- Idea booklet and app included
- Durable FSC wood
- Needs a hard, flat surface
- Heavy box to store
- Marbles unsafe for toddlers
Performance notes
Balance comes from stacking each block squarely on the one below, so a flat base matters most. Funnels and the seesaw change marble speed and direction for variety. Wipe wooden parts with a damp cloth rather than washing them.
