Overview
Not a standard English saddle and not a full Western rig, this HILASON model is a treeless hybrid in black leather. Western style fenders are attached to an English layout, and the whole saddle is leather.
The combination of a treeless build and Western fenders appeals to riders who want something between two disciplines. The listing offers no description, so stirrups, girth, billets and panel details are unknown.
Who it's for
Trail riders and pleasure riders who like a close contact feel with Western fenders will want to look at it. Riders who need accessory details, a gullet measurement or a tight fit guide should ask the seller or choose a saddle with a full description.
Pros and cons
- Treeless hybrid build
- Seat size clearly listed
- No description text
- Included items not listed
- Panel and gullet sizes not listed
- Short warranty period
Performance notes
A treeless saddle spreads pressure through the panel rather than a rigid tree, so fit depends on the horse's back and a suitable pad. The leather build wears in with use, and Western fenders change leg position compared with a standard English flap. The listing provides no figures on weight distribution or panel shape.
