Overview
TrikFish's SWL0003001 is a 50 yard spool of clear nylon monofilament line rated at 30 pound test, better suited to leader or rigging duty than filling out a full reel spool.
At 30 pound test, this monofilament sits in medium-heavy territory, suited to leader material or shorter mainline spools rather than filling a large reel. The 50 yard length is modest, which points toward use as leader line, rigging line or a top-shot rather than a full spool for casting reels.

- 30 pound test
- Clear nylon monofilament
- 1 count spool
Who it's for
Anglers who need a short spool of 30 pound clear mono for leaders, rigging or terminal tackle rather than spooling an entire reel. Not suited to anglers who need bulk line for filling large spinning or baitcasting reels.
Pros and cons
- Clear color for reduced visibility
- 30 pound test suits medium to heavy rigging
- Nylon monofilament handles knots well
- 50 yard length is short for spooling a full reel
- Single test strength and color offered
Performance notes
Nylon monofilament at this test strength offers manageable stretch and knot strength for rigging, and the clear color keeps the line less visible in the water compared to tinted lines. Because the spool is only 50 yards, it's better matched to leader sections than to full mainline duty.
