Overview
Burt's Bees for Pets Waterless Shampoo is a no-rinse spray formulated with apple and honey ingredients for dogs and puppies, sold in a 10 fluid ounce bottle.
As a waterless formula, it is meant for quick cleanup between baths rather than replacing a full wash, spray on and towel off without water. It is pH balanced and free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, though the listing's scent field marks it unscented despite the apple and honey name, so buyers expecting a strong fragrance may find it milder than the name suggests.
- 10 fl oz spray bottle
- No-rinse, waterless formula
- Apple and honey ingredients
- Sulfate, paraben, and phthalate free
Who it's for
Suits dog owners wanting a quick, no-rinse cleanup option between regular baths, especially useful for puppies or dogs that dislike full washes. Not a replacement for a full bath when a dog is heavily soiled.
Pros and cons
- No-rinse convenience for quick cleanup
- Free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates
- PH balanced for dog skin
- Suitable for puppies
- Not a substitute for a full bath on heavily soiled dogs
- Scent labeling is inconsistent with the apple and honey name
Performance notes
As a spray-and-towel formula, it works on surface dirt and light odor rather than deep cleaning, and the sulfate-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free formulation is aimed at sensitive-skin dogs. The pH-balanced claim targets dog skin specifically rather than human shampoo chemistry.
