Overview
Kitchen counters with a movie night habit are where this popper lives: kernels go in, circulating hot air pops them without oil, and the popcorn blows out into a waiting bowl. A measuring cup is included for portioning the kernels, and the plastic body is light enough to put away between uses.
Oil free popcorn is the reason to own a hot air unit, and the Presto gives you that with a measuring cup in the box. The listing stops there: no popped capacity, wattage, warranty or butter melting tray is stated, so compare on those elsewhere.
Who it's for
Families popping a bowl at a time on the counter are the target. Shoppers who need to know how many cups one batch makes, or who want a warranty length confirmed, should look at a listing that states those.
Pros and cons
- Pops with hot air, no oil
- Measuring cup included
- Portable plastic body
- Compact footprint on the counter
- Popped capacity, wattage and warranty not listed
- No butter melting tray
- Plastic construction only
Performance notes
Hot air poppers blow heated air through the kernels until they burst, so the result depends on using the measured amount so the chamber heats evenly. Overfilling slows the airflow and leaves unpopped kernels. Without oil there is nothing to carry salt, so seasoning is added after.
