Overview
Spreading tongue weight over the axles of both the tow vehicle and the trailer, this SwayPro hitch fits the large receiver named in the title. A nine hole shank gives height options.
The listed ratings cover heavy trailers, and a multi-hole shank helps set the height. The description is a single line, so head design, bar rating and what comes in the box are not stated.
Who it's for
A truck owner towing a travel trailer through a matching receiver can use the ratings. A driver with another receiver size should check compatibility first.
Pros and cons
- Heavy towing rating
- Nine hole shank for height
- Weight distribution to both axles
- Large receiver size
- Box contents not listed
- Sway control details not listed
- Heavy to handle
Performance notes
A weight distribution hitch shifts part of the tongue load forward to the tow vehicle axles and back to the trailer, which levels the rig and improves control. The shank hole chosen sets the ride height.
