Overview
Scanning receipts, contracts and single pages on the go is simple with this Brother mobile scanner, which draws power from a USB port so no outlet is needed. It feeds one sheet at a time and fits in a laptop bag.
USB power and a slim build make it practical for travel and small desks. It handles one page at a time at modest speed, and newer Windows users must download drivers.
Who it's for
Mobile workers, expense trackers and small desks get a light, cable-powered scanner. Anyone scanning multi-page stacks should choose a feeder scanner.
Pros and cons
- USB powered, no outlet
- Very light and slim
- Color and mono scanning
- Handles long documents
- One sheet at a time
- Bundled drivers not Windows 10 ready
- Low daily duty
Performance notes
Scan speed is limited by single-sheet feeding and the power available over USB. Image quality comes from the CIS sensor and LED light, which give sharp text on flat pages but suit thick cards less.
