Overview
A tight kitchen corner or the gap beside a cabinet is where this slim Sterilite wastebasket goes, with a rectangular shape built for narrow spaces. The touch top lid opens with a press, then shuts securely to hide what is inside.
Its slim footprint and concealing lid let it fit into tight spots without leaving trash in view. Quiet closing helps in shared spaces. Smaller capacity means more frequent bag changes, and the lid takes a hand press rather than a pedal.
Who it's for
Apartment kitchens and tight indoor corners get a covered bin that tucks into narrow spaces. Households producing lots of trash will outgrow it fast.
Pros and cons
- Slim shape fits narrow spaces
- Lid conceals contents
- Quiet close lid
- Light and easy to empty
- Modest capacity needs frequent emptying
- No foot pedal or sensor
- Plastic body, not steel
Performance notes
A latch under the press-top releases the lid with a tap, and the quiet close feature softens it as it shuts. The narrow rectangular body sets the capacity limit, so the bag fills sooner in a busy room.
