Overview
A bedside table, desk or dorm shelf is where this pillar style salt lamp belongs. A black metal basket holds chunks of Himalayan salt around an LED bulb, and the light comes out amber.
Warm amber light from a salt-filled basket works as ambient decor and gift material more than as a work light. A dimmer sets the intensity for night use. The listing contradicts itself on the dimmer type, so check how it operates when it arrives.
Who it's for
Anyone dressing up a bedroom, office or dorm with a low-level glow and a decorative object. Bathroom or outdoor spots are out, since the lamp is listed as indoor and not water resistant.
Pros and cons
- Dimmable amber glow
- LED bulb pre-installed
- Powered by a USB cable
- Compact basket design with salt chunks
- Not water resistant
- Indoor use only
- Short warranty period
- Dimmer type described inconsistently
Performance notes
Light comes from the LED bulb inside the basket and passes through the salt chunks, which tint it amber. The dimmer sets how much of that glow reaches the room. Brightness is not stated in lumens, so treat it as accent lighting.
