Overview
Filtering a large batch of water at once is the job of the Brita UltraMax, a dispenser that holds water treated by an activated carbon filter. It fits on the counter or in the fridge, and a sticker indicator marks when the filter is due for a change.
Large capacity means fewer refills for a busy household or office. The sticker indicator is manual, and the listing does not name the filter model, its life or what it removes.
Who it's for
Households, sports teams and offices that go through water quickly suit it. Small fridges may not have room for its footprint.
Pros and cons
- Large capacity, fewer refills
- Fits counter or fridge
- Activated carbon filtration
- Simple sticker reminder
- Filter life not listed
- Sticker indicator, not electronic
- Bulky for small fridges
Performance notes
Activated carbon filters water as it passes through the cartridge, so results depend on how fresh the filter is. The sticker indicator relies on the owner to track the change date.
