Overview
A playroom floor of wooden track is where this safari engine fits, with a yellow safari-print engine and two animal wagons. Sliding the wagon roofs open pops the animals up, and closing them tucks the animals away.
The hidden animals give a child a second thing to play with beyond rolling the train. The battery fields conflict, so confirm how it runs, and no track is part of the set.
Who it's for
A child with a wooden layout gets an interactive add-on. A new buyer needs track from elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Animals pop up from wagon roofs
- Works with BRIO World toys
- No assembly required
- Battery fields conflict
- No track included
- Small parts warning
- Only three pieces
Performance notes
Operation is listed as manual with touch control, so the train is pushed by hand rather than driven by a motor. The roof mechanism slides by hand to raise and lower the animals.
