Overview
A 7.1 ounce no rinse shampoo from Wahl in a Coconut Lime Verbena scent, built on an oatmeal formula meant to clean, condition, detangle and moisturize fur without water.
Being waterless, it is meant for spot cleaning or touch ups between full baths rather than replacing a wash entirely, and Wahl lists it as alcohol free, paraben free and PEG-80 free. The listing also names cat, dog and horse under pet type despite the dog focused title, so check the label if using on another animal.
- 7.1 oz waterless shampoo
- Coconut Lime Verbena scent
- Oatmeal formula
- Alcohol free, paraben free
Who it's for
Dog owners who need a quick clean between baths, for muddy paws or a fast freshen up, without access to water or a tub. Not meant to replace a full wash for a heavily soiled coat.
Pros and cons
- No water or rinsing needed
- Alcohol and paraben free formula
- Oatmeal base aimed at soothing skin
- Not a substitute for a full bath on heavily soiled coats
- 7.1 oz bottle is a small size for frequent use
Performance notes
The oatmeal base is meant to soothe skin while cleaning, and because it needs no water or rinsing it works as a towel applied spot treatment rather than a full lather and rinse wash. Being alcohol and paraben free is aimed at reducing skin irritation from repeated use.
