Samsung BD-H6500 3D Smart Blu-ray Player

Overview

A buyer who wants a disc player for the living room gets Blu-ray playback with Wi-Fi built in and 4K UHD output. The unit reads discs and sends the picture to a TV over its video output. Samsung builds it in a black chassis that weighs about a pound.

Disc playback with a wireless connection covers the basics for a TV setup. What holds the page back is the missing detail: the listing does not name the disc formats it reads, the region code it carries, or how many HDMI outputs it has, so a shopper cannot confirm a match before ordering.

Who it's for

A living room or bedroom setup that needs a disc player with a wireless connection covers the core use. Shoppers who must confirm disc formats, region coding or output count before they buy should look for a fuller listing instead.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Playback quality depends on the disc, the output resolution the player sends, and the connection to the TV. A wireless link handles streaming duties, while disc playback runs from the drive. Nothing in the listing states how the player handles older discs or upscaling.
