Overview
Not a squeeze-handle tool, the T50DCD is a battery-powered electric stapler for upholstery, furniture and decorating. A bottom-load magazine, an oversized trigger and a soft overmolded grip handle the work.
Electric drive removes the hand effort of a manual gun, and the battery indicator light shows charge.
Who it's for
A furniture refinisher or decorator driving many fasteners in one session will use the electric drive and quick-release magazine. Occasional users with a few staples to place may be happy with a manual tool.
Pros and cons
- Cordless electric drive
- Battery indicator light
- Staple viewing window
- Staples not listed
- Needs charging before use
Performance notes
An internal lithium ion battery powers each shot, so drive force stays consistent instead of depending on grip strength. The contact safety prevents firing in the air, and the viewing window shows when to reload.
