Overview
Sterilite fits each of these clear storage boxes with a gasket in the lid, so latches pull it down into a seal that blocks air, moisture, dust and pests. The size suits hanging files, photos and paperwork.
A real seal makes these a step up from plain lidded bins for basements and garages. Check the inside measurements, which are well below the outside.
Who it's for
Home offices and anyone archiving papers get sealed boxes that latch shut. Those short on shelf height should compare the outside dimensions first.
Pros and cons
- Gasket seal blocks moisture
- Latches hold lid tight
- Clear to see contents
- Four boxes per order
- Interior smaller than outside
- Warranty not applicable
Performance notes
Latches compress the lid gasket against the rim, closing the gap that lets humidity and insects in. Clear plastic lets you see contents without opening and breaking the seal.
