A high capacity fryer with a genuinely useful three basket setup, but reliability complaints around the power cord and early failures are frequent enough to weigh against the extra capacity.

Overview
The Hamilton Beach 35034 is a 4.5 liter, 1800 watt deep fryer that ships with three frying baskets, a large one for full batches and two smaller ones for frying two foods separately at the same time.
The 19 cup oil capacity and three basket setup are built for cooking more food at once than a typical single basket fryer, with Hamilton Beach noting some of its fryers in this size range can fit a whole chicken. A breakaway cord is meant to prevent tipping if snagged.
- 4.5L / 19 cup oil capacity, 1800W
- Includes one large and two small frying baskets
- Adjustable 265 to 375 F temperature dial
- Breakaway cord and viewing window
Who it's for
Suits someone cooking for a group or wanting to fry two different foods at once without cross contaminating oil flavors. Not a confident choice for someone who needs a fryer to work reliably out of the box every time, given the number of failure reports.
Pros and cons
- 19 cup oil capacity handles large batches
- Three basket configuration allows frying two foods separately
- Baskets, pot and lid are dishwasher safe
- Viewing window and timer for hands off monitoring
- Breakaway magnetic cord reported to disconnect during normal use
