Overview
Rubbermaid makes the Brute as a heavy duty commercial container, here in recycling blue with an open top. It works as a central collection point or a shipping bin, which cuts down on handling.
Commercial build and a large capacity make it a workhorse for busy breakrooms and loading docks. The listing shows no lid, dimensions or dolly, so plan those separately.
Who it's for
Breakrooms, warehouses and commercial kitchens that collect a lot of recyclables suit this size. Homes wanting a covered bin under a counter should look at a smaller lidded model.
Pros and cons
- Large commercial capacity
- Recycled resin content
- Open top for fast disposal
- Doubles as a shipping container
- No lid listed
- Dimensions not given
- No wheels listed
- Open top shows contents
Performance notes
Thick resin walls resist dents from heavy loads, and the round shape lets the bin be tipped and rolled on its edge. An open top speeds disposal but leaves contents visible.
