Overview
This Healthy Origins Astaxanthin softgel also delivers 12mg of AstaPure astaxanthin per serving but in a larger 150-softgel bottle, labeled triple strength, non-GMO and gluten free, and positioned for eye, joint, immune and heart support.
The dose per softgel matches the smaller 60-count version from the same brand, so the meaningful difference here is bottle size and the added heart health claim on the label. The 150-count size suits someone planning on daily rather than every-other-day use.
- 12mg AstaPure astaxanthin per serving
- 150 softgels per bottle
- Labeled triple strength
- Non-GMO, gluten free
Who it's for
Suits someone who wants a larger supply of the same 12mg AstaPure astaxanthin for more frequent, closer to daily, dosing, and who also wants the heart health support claim on the label. Not necessary for someone happy with the smaller two month bottle from the same line.
Pros and cons
- 12mg AstaPure astaxanthin per softgel
- 150-count bottle for extended supply
- Non-GMO and gluten free
- Adds a heart health claim to the eye and joint support claims
- Larger bottle costs more upfront than the 60-count size
- No user review data available to confirm results
Performance notes
The astaxanthin source and 12mg per-serving dose are unchanged from the smaller bottle, so the practical difference is supply size, 150 softgels versus 60, which suits more frequent use without reordering as often.
