Worth it for the fold-and-go convenience if you get a clean unit, but budget time to check bolts, brakes and the hinge on arrival given the mixed shipping experiences reported.

Overview
Schwinn's Hinge is a single-speed folding bike with 20 inch wheels, a rear rack and full fenders, collapsing to 30 by 32 by 11 inches for storage or transport.
Folding bikes trade riding range and comfort for portability, and the Hinge leans hard into that trade: a single gear, small wheels, and a frame built to collapse for a car trunk or closet. Reviewer experience splits sharply between buyers who got a clean, well-adjusted bike and several who had to fix bent parts or a broken brake on arrival.
- 20 inch alloy wheels
- Folds to 30x32x11 inches
- Rear rack plus full fenders
- 300 lb rider and cargo capacity
Who it's for
Riders who need a compact bike for apartments, car trunks or short errands are the intended buyer. It is not built for long-distance touring or hilly terrain given the single gear and small wheels.
Pros and cons
- Folds down small for car trunk storage
- Rear rack and full fenders included
- Light enough to lift and carry
- Single speed struggles on hills or long rides
- Some units arrive with bent or damaged parts
- Included carry bag is awkward to use
