Overview
Goliath makes Tri-Ominos Deluxe as a triangle-tile take on dominoes, with crystalline plastic tiles and brass spinners. Players score points by matching numbers on the three-sided pieces, using the racks to hold tiles.
The deluxe tiles and spinners make it feel more finished than a basic set, and the racks are included. The game needs at least two players and has no stated warranty.
Who it's for
A game night for two to four players who enjoy number matching works well. Larger groups and buyers wanting a warranty should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Crystalline tiles with brass spinners
- Classic matching play
- Capped at four players
- Plastic racks, not wood
- Rules take a round to learn
Performance notes
Players score by matching tile edges and numbers, so each turn is a short puzzle of where a three-sided tile can go. The racks hold tiles upright and out of sight, and the spinners are used to track score.
