Overview
Not a gas-powered machine, this Greenworks snow blower is cordless and electric, with a digitally controlled brushless motor and rear wheels for maneuvering.
A brushless motor is credited with more torque, longer runtime and quiet operation, and the battery family covers dozens of other tools. The limit is battery capacity and a single speed, with no runtime figure given.
Who it's for
Homeowners with modest paved areas who want a quiet cordless machine and may already own other tools on the platform. Large properties or heavy wet snow call for a bigger machine.
Pros and cons
- Cordless brushless motor
- Battery and charger included
- Battery fits the wider tool family
- Rear wheels for maneuvering
- Runtime not listed
- Single speed only
Performance notes
A digitally controlled brushless motor produces the torque that pushes snow into the auger and out the chute, with a listed throw distance. Runtime depends on the included battery, which the listing does not time. A single speed means no adjustment for heavy or light snow.
