Overview
The Gino 01-0102 is a corded wood router that runs on standard 120 volt AC power with a 1010 watt motor. It weighs 8.18 pounds and measures 19 by 6 by 7 inches, sized for handheld routing work rather than table mounted use.
At 1010 watts the 01-0102 sits in the mid range for handheld routers, enough motor for edge profiling and shallow dado work without the bulk of a heavier plunge router. Being corded rather than battery powered means it draws consistent power for as long as the job runs, at the cost of needing an outlet nearby.
- 1010 watt AC motor
- 120 volt corded power
- 8.18 pounds, 19 x 6 x 7 inches
Who it's for
Suited to woodworkers who want a corded router for edge work and moderate depth cuts without paying for battery flexibility. Less suited to anyone who needs a cordless router for jobsite work away from an outlet, since this one runs on AC power only.
Pros and cons
- 1010 watt motor for consistent corded power
- Light enough at 8.18 pounds for handheld use
- Corded only, no battery option
- Collet size and plunge depth not listed
Performance notes
The 1010 watt AC motor draws steady power rather than running down like a battery unit, which suits longer routing sessions. At 8.18 pounds it is light enough to guide by hand for edge work, though the listing does not state collet size or plunge depth, so bit compatibility and cut depth are not confirmed here.
