Overview
Not a full multi-sensor station, this AcuRite pairs a color display with one outdoor sensor that reports temperature, humidity, pressure and moon phase. The display also shows indoor temperature.
A self-calibrating forecast, an auto-dimming screen and daily records make it a compact way to watch the weather, and it runs from the wall in any spot with an outlet. Sensor batteries are not included, and the warranty wording conflicts.
Who it's for
People who want a basic indoor and outdoor station with a forecast. Those who need wind or rain readings should look at a larger station.
Pros and cons
- Auto-dimming color display
- Trend arrows and daily records
- AC adapter included
- Moon phase display
- Sensor batteries not included
- Warranty stated two ways
- No wind or rain readings listed
Performance notes
The outdoor sensor sends readings to the display by radio, and the display learns local conditions to produce a forecast for the next several hours. Trend arrows show which way each reading is moving, and daily highs and lows are recorded for temperature and humidity.
