Overview
Pure activated bamboo charcoal powder, 60 grams (2.11 oz), unflavored, vegetarian, and gluten free. Sold loose rather than in capsules, so dosing is left to the buyer.
Sold as a raw powder rather than pre-filled capsules, so dosing is entirely up to the buyer, which suits people who want to blend it into water, toothpaste, or masks at their own strength. No flavoring is added, so the plain gritty texture of charcoal comes through.
- 60 grams / 2.11 oz activated bamboo charcoal powder
- Unflavored
- Vegetarian
- Gluten free
Who it's for
Fits shoppers who prefer measuring their own charcoal dose over capsules and want a vegetarian, gluten free option. Not a fit for anyone wanting premeasured capsules or a flavored product.
Pros and cons
- Vegetarian and gluten free
- Unflavored, no added ingredients
- Compact 2.11 oz size for testing before buying more
- No capsules, dosing is on you
- Small quantity for regular use
- No flavor for sensitive palates
Performance notes
As a powder, activated charcoal works through physical adsorption, binding substances to its porous surface rather than through a chemical reaction, which is why it's typically taken away from meals and medications. The unflavored bamboo source keeps the ingredient list short.
