Overview
The Cosco HC237DHC is a portable highchair built from polyester and polypropylene, rated to hold up to 50 pounds and weighing 12.57 pounds itself. Its folded dimensions are listed at 18 inches deep, 18 inches wide and 6 inches tall.
A 50 pound weight capacity means the seat should carry a child well past the infant stage into early toddlerhood. The 18 by 18 by 6 inch measurement reads as a folded footprint given how flat it is, which points to a chair meant to collapse for storage or travel rather than stay assembled full time.
- 50 pound weight capacity
- 12.57 pound chair weight
- Polyester and polypropylene construction
- Portable, foldable design
Who it's for
Works for parents who want a highchair that folds down small enough to stash in a closet or car trunk between uses. Less ideal for anyone wanting a chair that stays fully assembled as furniture, since the compact folded size suggests a knock down design.
Pros and cons
- 50 pound weight capacity spans infant to toddler use
- 12.57 pounds makes it easy to carry or relocate
- Folds to a compact 18 by 18 by 6 inch size
- Compact folded footprint suggests limited standing stability compared to full size chairs
- Fabric seat material may need specific cleaning care not detailed here
Performance notes
The 50 pound weight capacity should cover a child from early highchair use through the toddler years. At 12.57 pounds it is light enough to carry between rooms or pack for travel, and the compact folded dimensions back up its portable design.
