A lightweight Monoprice subwoofer with minimal published specs; fine if color and general category are all you need to confirm.

Overview

Monoprice lists the 114567 as a 9 lb subwoofer with a multicolor finish. It's sized as a standalone bass unit rather than part of a packaged home theater system.

At 9 lb this sits toward the lighter end for a powered subwoofer, though the listing doesn't specify wattage, driver size, or whether it's powered or passive, so the weight alone shouldn't be read as a stand in for output.

Who it's for

Home theater owners adding a compact bass unit to an existing system who don't need a stated power rating to make the call. Buyers comparing subwoofers by wattage or driver size will need a listing that publishes those numbers.

Pros and cons

Pros

Compact at 9 lb
Multicolor option available

Cons

No wattage or power rating listed
No driver size specified

Performance notes

Nothing in the spec blob states wattage, driver diameter, or amplifier type, so the 9 lb weight is the only physical indicator available, and it points to a smaller enclosure rather than a large floor standing unit.
