Overview
The Bosch JS572EBK is a 120-volt saw with a rated speed of 3000 RPM, high speed steel construction, and a listed cutting capacity of 1 inch. Compact dimensions of 9.93 by 4 by 7.2 inches and a weight of 4.9 pounds put it in handheld, maneuverable territory.
Running on standard 120-volt household power keeps it tethered to an outlet or extension cord rather than a battery, while the 1 inch cutting capacity marks the thickest material it's rated to cut through cleanly. The high speed steel spec points to the blade material, which matters most when cutting through denser stock.
- 120-volt corded operation
- 3000 RPM rated speed
- 1-inch cutting capacity
- Compact 9.93 x 4 x 7.2 inch size
Who it's for
Suits users doing detail or curved cuts on material up to about 1 inch thick near a power outlet. Not the right pick for anyone needing cordless mobility or capacity beyond that 1 inch limit.
Pros and cons
- Corded 120-volt power for steady output
- Compact size at 4.9 pounds for easy handling
- High speed steel construction for the cutting edge
- 1-inch cutting capacity limits it to thinner material
- Tethered to an outlet rather than cordless
Performance notes
At 3000 RPM and a rated 1 inch cutting capacity, this saw is built for controlled cuts through moderate stock rather than thick lumber. Corded 120-volt operation keeps power steady throughout a cut, without the output drop battery tools can show as a charge runs down. Its compact 9.93 by 4 by 7.2 inch frame and 4.9-pound weight also make it easy to maneuver for curved or detail work.
