Overview
The Hushh is Yogasleep's compact, USB-rechargeable white noise machine built for travel and stroller use, offering three sound options and a soft night light in a 3.5 inch case that weighs under four ounces.
Unlike the fan-based Dohm, the Hushh runs on synthesized sound and a rechargeable battery rather than a mounted fan, which is what makes it small enough to clip to a stroller, car seat or crib. Yogasleep specifies it for portable use only, and instructs turning it off and unplugging it every 14 days.
- USB-rechargeable, up to 24 hours per charge
- 3 selectable sounds: bright white, deep white, gentle surf
- Amber LED night light built in
- Flexible clip attaches to stroller, car seat or crib
Who it's for
Suits parents who need a sound machine that travels, clips to a stroller or diaper bag, and does not require an outlet. Less suited to a fixed bedroom setup where an always plugged in machine like the Dohm would be simpler.
Pros and cons
- Compact 3.5 inch size clips to stroller, car seat or crib
- Three selectable sounds plus a soft night light
- Up to 24 hours of runtime per charge
- Child safety lock keeps settings from changing
- Needs regular recharging rather than staying plugged in
- Manufacturer says to power off and unplug every 14 days
Performance notes
Sound comes from a synthesized chip offering bright white noise, deep white noise or gentle surf, adjustable by volume dial, rather than a mechanical fan. A single charge runs up to 24 hours, and the amber LED night light stays dim enough not to disturb sleep.
