Overview
This Utopia Bedding mattress protector is a fitted, waterproof cover for queen mattresses up to 17 inches deep, made from an 80 percent polyester, 20 percent bamboo derived viscose blend. An all around elastic band holds it in place under a fitted sheet.
As a protector rather than a topper, its job is blocking spills, sweat and other liquids from reaching the mattress, not adding softness or loft. The 200 GSM bamboo viscose blend surface is meant to stay breathable despite the waterproof backing underneath.
- 80% polyester, 20% bamboo derived viscose blend
- Waterproof, noiseless fitted cover
- Fits mattresses up to 17 inches deep
- Machine washable, tumble dry low
Who it's for
Suits anyone who wants to shield a queen mattress from liquids and everyday wear without changing how it feels to sleep on. Not meant for someone shopping for a plush topper or extra cushioning.
Pros and cons
- Waterproof barrier against spills and sweat
- Breathable bamboo viscose blend top layer
- Fits mattresses up to 17 inches deep
- Waterproof backing can feel less soft than fabric alone
- Care calls for cold wash only, no bleach or ironing
Performance notes
The waterproof backing sits under a 200 GSM bamboo viscose blend layer, so liquids are stopped before reaching the mattress while the top surface stays breathable against skin. The fitted, all around elastic band is built to hold the cover snug on mattresses up to 17 inches thick.
