Overview
Pro Plan Veterinary Diets UR Urinary Ox/St is a dry kibble formula from Purina designed to help manage a dog's urinary tract environment by targeting oxalate and struvite stone formation. It ships in a 25 lb bag, sized for extended feeding rather than a trial-size purchase.
Because it sits in the Veterinary Diets category, this formula is intended to be paired with a vet's diagnosis rather than picked off the shelf for a healthy dog. No ingredient list or feeding chart was provided with this listing, so specifics beyond the formula name come from the bag itself.
- Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets line
- Ox/St urinary formula
- Dry kibble format
- 25 lb bag size
Who it's for
Suited to owners who have already been told by a vet that their dog needs oxalate and struvite urinary management, and who want the 25 lb size for a multi-dog household or a longer feeding stretch. Not a fit for owners simply browsing for a general-purpose kibble.
Pros and cons
- Targets both oxalate and struvite stone risk
- Large 25 lb bag suits long-term feeding
- No feeding guidelines or ingredient list included in this listing's data
- Best used with veterinary guidance rather than on your own
Performance notes
Urinary support kibbles work by adjusting mineral content and urine pH to make it harder for oxalate and struvite crystals to form, but results depend on the individual dog and are usually confirmed through follow-up urinalysis with your vet.
