Overview
A gallon-size, soap-free dog shampoo built around a proprietary Odortrol ingredient for cutting pet odor, aimed at groomers and multi-dog households. Also listed as safe for cats.
Green Groom sells this in a 1-gallon jug rather than a retail bottle, which points at professional or high-volume home use. It is positioned as a deodorizing shampoo first, with conditioning, degreasing, deshedding, moisturizing and softening listed as secondary benefits. The formula is described as soap-free and allergen-free.
- 1 gallon (128 oz) bottle
- Odortrol deodorizing ingredient
- Soap-free, allergen-free formula
- Safe for both dogs and cats
Who it's for
Groomers, boarding kennels, or owners of multiple dogs who go through shampoo fast and want one product covering odor plus coat conditioning. Not intended for a single dog needing only occasional baths, where a smaller bottle makes more sense.
Pros and cons
- Gallon size suits frequent or multi-dog bathing
- Soap-free, allergen-free formula
- Combines deodorizing with conditioning and deshedding
- No dilution ratio given on the listing
- Gallon format is impractical for a single occasional bath
Performance notes
The shampoo's odor control centers on its Odortrol ingredient rather than fragrance alone, paired with a soap-free base meant to be gentler on skin across repeated washes. The listing does not give a dilution ratio, so how far the gallon stretches will depend on use.
