Nexgrill 720-0896B Deluxe 6-Burner Propane Gas Grill

Overview

Six burners and 768 square inches of grate space put the Nexgrill 720-0896B toward the larger end of freestanding propane grills, built from alloy and stainless steel and finished in black. At just over 124 lb, it is sized for a permanent spot rather than easy relocation.

Six burners spread across a 768 sq in grate gives more independent heat zones than a typical two or three burner grill, useful for cooking different foods at different temperatures at once. The listed 15,000 BTU output is the combined figure for the unit as published.

• 6 burners
• 768 sq in cooking area
• 15,000 BTU
• 124.19 lb

Who it's for

Households that entertain regularly and want generous cooking area with multiple heat zones on one grill will get the most from this size class. A small patio or balcony is a poor match, given the nearly 58 inch width and 124 lb weight.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

With six burners over 768 sq in, heat can be zoned so part of the grate runs hot for searing while another section holds a lower temperature, though the total 15,000 BTU output is spread across all six burners rather than concentrated in fewer zones. Grills with fewer burners over a smaller area typically deliver more heat per burner than a six-burner layout like this one.
