Overview
DEWALT's DCE560B is a battery powered adhesive gun that pushes a plunger rod at a speed set by the trigger and dial. When the trigger is released the rod retracts on its own, and interchangeable trays allow different canister sizes.
Anti-drip retraction and trigger control reduce mess on a job, and the tray system covers more than one canister size. The tool is bare, so anyone without a compatible battery has an extra purchase.
Who it's for
Installers and contractors already in the DEWALT battery system who want control over flow. Occasional users would be well served by a manual gun.
Pros and cons
- Variable speed trigger and dial
- Anti-drip rod retraction
- Interchangeable canister trays
- Three year limited warranty
- Battery and charger not included
- Only the ten ounce size is stated
- Care steps not listed
Performance notes
The dial sets a maximum and minimum flow rate and the trigger varies speed between them. Releasing the trigger pulls the rod back, which relieves pressure on the canister so material does not keep oozing.
