Overview
The Joovy 2069 is a highchair built for babies through early childhood, rated to hold up to 50 pounds. It uses a faux leather seat covering, which wipes down more easily than fabric.
At 14.9 pounds and 23.5 inches deep by 32 inches wide by 41 inches tall, it is a substantial highchair rather than a compact fold-flat model.
- 50 pound weight capacity
- Faux leather seat material
- 23.5 x 32 x 41 inch dimensions
Who it's for
Families wanting one highchair that lasts from infancy into toddlerhood, given the listed age range of baby to kid. Apartment dwellers short on floor space may find the 32 inch width and 41 inch height large for a small kitchen.
Pros and cons
- Faux leather seat wipes clean easily
- 50 pound weight capacity covers baby through kid
- Widely reviewed with a high average rating
- Large footprint at 32 inches wide and 41 inches tall
- 14.9 pounds is heavier than compact highchair models
Performance notes
The faux leather covering is the main practical feature here, since it resists the spills and wipe-downs that come with self-feeding toddlers better than cloth padding. At just under 15 pounds the chair is light enough to reposition, and Joovy markets it as portable, though its footprint of 32 inches wide suggests moving it around a home rather than folding small for travel.
