Overview
Setting a toilet without the mess of wax is the point of the Fluidmaster seal, a wax-free gasket that can be repositioned as you lower the bowl and still seals. Rust-free brass bolts and a sliding spacer come in the box.
DIYers get a cleaner, more forgiving install that seals against gas, odor and water on flanges at any height. The listing has a typo on waste line size and two different part numbers, so check fit for your drain.
Who it's for
Bathroom remodels with flanges above or below the finished floor suit the stackable design. Anyone confused by the part numbers should confirm with Fluidmaster first.
Pros and cons
- No wax mess
- Can be repositioned
- Works at any flange height
- Gas, odor and water tight
- Part number differs between title and model
- Waste line size has a typo
- Flange material compatibility not stated
Performance notes
Sealing comes from the wax-free stackable gasket, which compresses to seal on flanges at, above or below the floor and tolerates uneven surfaces. Because it is not wax, repositioning the bowl during fitting does not break the seal.
