Overview
A foldable rod case built in black plastic and sized to fit a 45 inch rod. It folds down for storage or travel and works as a protective sleeve rather than a rigid tube.
The case's own weight is under a pound, which points to a soft sided or semi rigid folding sleeve rather than a hard tube case. Buyers should confirm their rod's assembled or folded length fits within the 45 inch spec before ordering, since it is listed as one fixed size.
- 45 inch folding rod case
- Black plastic construction
- 0.18 kg (about 6 oz)
- Single case, one rod
Who it's for
Anglers who need a compact, foldable way to carry a single rod between trips, especially where storage space is tight. It suits rods that fold or break down to roughly 45 inches or less.
Pros and cons
- Folds down for compact storage
- Lightweight at under half a pound
- Simple one piece black design
- Plastic build offers less protection than a rigid tube
- Fixed 45 inch size limits which rods fit
Performance notes
As a folding case, protection comes from the plastic shell closing around the rod rather than a hard outer tube, so it favors portability over impact resistance.
