Overview
Scrubbing without loose wire bristles, this Kona brush uses a stainless steel triangular head on a long metal handle. It is listed for grill maintenance on ceramic, metal and porcelain surfaces.
A bristle-free design removes the worry about stray wire strands, and the hard firmness aims at stuck-on residue. The warranty covers repair or replacement only and cannot be passed to a new owner.
Who it's for
A home griller with porcelain, ceramic or metal grates and a dislike of wire bristles. Those with delicate surfaces that need soft brushing should look at gentler tools.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel construction
- Hard firmness for residue
- Hard firmness may not suit delicate grates
- Warranty not transferable
- Heat rating not listed
Performance notes
A hard, bristle-free head scrapes residue off by pressure and edge contact rather than by wire tips, so the angle of the triangular face does the cleaning. Stainless steel tolerates grate heat, and the long handle holds hands away from the grate.
