Overview
A woven metal cage encases chunks of pink salt crystal, and a bulb inside lights them. The black base carries a rotary dimmer for brightness, and the open lattice throws patterned shadows around the room.
A decorative lamp for a bedroom, living room or office, supplied with its bulb and cord. The metal basket gives it a different look from a plain rock lamp. Several specs disagree, including size, bulb base and power source.
Who it's for
Gift buyers and decorators who like a rose gold metal look and a soft orange glow. Buyers who need precise size information, or a lamp for a damp room, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Rotary dimmer on the base
- Woven metal cage design
- Comes assembled per the description
- UL approval stated by the seller
- Size listed three ways
- Power source listed two ways
- Not water resistant
Performance notes
The bulb warms the salt and the light passes through it and out through the open weave. The dimmer sets how bright the glow is, from a faint night light to a stronger accent. Each salt chunk differs, so the color and brightness vary a little between lamps.
