Overview
The AMMSUN 7.5-foot beach umbrella combines a UPF 50+ canopy with a fiberglass rib frame, a steel pole, a tilt function, and a removable sand anchor for use at the beach, pool, or backyard.
Ten fiberglass ribs plus vented panels are the two features doing the work against wind, flexing rather than snapping in gusts while the vents release pressure that would otherwise catch like a sail. The sand anchor twists into loose ground for extra hold beyond the pole alone, and the whole umbrella folds into a carry bag with a shoulder strap.
- 7.5-foot canopy diameter
- UPF 50+ UV protection
- 10 fiberglass ribs with steel pole
- Adjustable tilt
Who it's for
Beachgoers and pool or patio users wanting shade that can handle breezy conditions. Less suited to anyone wanting a rigid umbrella stand for a fixed table rather than sand or loose ground.
Pros and cons
- UPF 50+ silver-coated canopy blocks UV
- Vented design and fiberglass ribs resist wind
- Sand anchor adds extra hold on loose ground
- Folds into a carry bag with shoulder strap
- Sand anchor works best on sand or soft ground, not pavement
- At 7.5 feet it needs enough clearance for the tilt function
Performance notes
The polyester canopy's silver coating blocks the bulk of UV rays while the vented top lets wind pass through instead of pushing the whole canopy over, and the tilt adjustment angles the shade to track the sun through the day. The sand anchor screws in separately from the main pole for a second point of grip when wind picks up.
