A fast USB switch that lets two computers share four ports with one button press. It handles quicker devices than an older style box, and includes two cables so both machines connect at once.

Overview
Not a video switch, this is a plain USB sharing box that flips four ports between two computers. A single push button handles the change, and the shell is made of ABS plastic.
Faster USB gives it room for external drives alongside a keyboard, mouse and printer. The box ships with two cables of useful length, but the listing says nothing about a power adapter for bus powered devices.
Who it's for
People who move between a desktop and a laptop and want faster peripherals on both. Anyone looking for monitor sharing or a hot key controlled switch should choose a KVM instead.
Pros and cons
- Fast USB speed
- Two cables included
- Compact and light
- No video switching
- Power adapter not mentioned
- Two computers only
Performance notes
The button hands the shared ports to one computer at a time, so the other sees the devices unplugged. Transfer speed depends on the cable and the drive, and the included cables keep the link at full speed.
