Overview
A push button speed control steps the Toastmaster TM108HM hand mixer through its settings, with stainless steel blades doing the mixing and a black plastic housing in the hand. Start low for wet batter and move up as the mix thickens.
Light weight and button speed steps make it easy to hold over a bowl for a whole batch. Listing details are thin: the voltage figure should be checked against your outlets, and the seller notes the UPC was cut off the box, though the item is new and unopened.
Who it's for
Occasional bakers whipping eggs or stirring batter by the bowl get a light tool with stepped speeds. Shoppers who need a dough hook, a whisk or a storage case named in the listing should wait for a fuller one.
Pros and cons
- Light enough for long mixing
- Stepped push button speed control
- Stainless steel blades
- Sold new and unopened
- Included attachments not listed
- Voltage rating needs checking before use
- UPC code cut off the packaging
Performance notes
Mixing results hinge on matching the speed step to the load, starting low so batter does not splash and moving up for whipping. The listing does not explain its power figure, so behavior in thick dough is unknown.
