Overview
A coffee drinker who wants both a mug of coffee and an espresso shot from one machine gets that here at the touch of a button. Capsules go into the Nespresso Vertuo, which heats up fast and shuts itself off to save energy.
Range of drinks is the reason to consider it, from coffee to single and double espresso, poured hot or over ice. Missing data is the weak spot: no wattage, no dimensions and no named capsule line appear in the listing.
Who it's for
Morning routines with mixed orders, one person on coffee and another on espresso, suit this machine. Ground coffee loyalists and latte makers who want milk handled by the machine should keep looking.
Pros and cons
- Coffee and espresso from one machine
- Quick heat up
- Automatic energy saving shut off
- Large water tank
- Wattage and dimensions not listed
- Capsule line unnamed in listing
- Milk frother not in the box
- Capsule assortment varies
Performance notes
Each drink is set by the capsule and the cup size button, so strength and volume come from the pod rather than the user. Fast heating cuts the wait before the first cup, and the auto shut off limits idle power draw.
