Overview
A charcoal griller who wants to light coals without fluid gets a stick-shaped electric starter here, finished in stainless steel from Charbroil. The listing names it as an electric charcoal starter and gives no further features.
An electric starter replaces fluid with a reusable tool, and stainless steel is the listed material. Cord length, wattage and how long it takes to light coals are all missing.
Who it's for
A backyard charcoal cook near a power outlet who wants a reusable lighting tool. Campers and park grillers without power should use another method.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel build
- Light listed weight
- Needs a power source
- Wattage not listed
- Cord length unknown
Performance notes
Electric starters heat by direct contact with the charcoal, so the stick has to be buried in the pile and left until coals catch. The listing gives no wattage, so how fast it lights depends on a rating that is not shown.
