Overview
This PUREPLUS 3-pack is a replacement refrigerator water filter built to fit LG models like the LT500P and Kenmore models like 9890 and 469890, along with related ADQ and GEN part numbers. It is NSF/ANSI 42 certified for chlorine, taste and odor reduction and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 certified lead free.
This is strictly a replacement part, not a standalone appliance, so the buying decision comes down to whether it matches the filter currently in a specific LG or Kenmore fridge. The listing cross-references a long list of OEM and model numbers including LT500PC, 5231JA2002A/B, ADQ72910901/902/907 and GEN11042FR-08, plus fridge models like LFX25974ST and LSC27925ST.

Who it's for
For anyone replacing the filter in a compatible LG or Kenmore side by side or french door refrigerator who wants a lower cost alternative to the OEM cartridge. Not useful for a fridge outside the listed model and part number range.
