Overview
A toddler-sized Christmas tree toy from Step2, built for kids to decorate with unbreakable plastic ornaments and a mini train set that circles the base. It is made for ages 1.5 and up with no assembly required.
Rather than a real or artificial decorative tree, this is a play tree meant to keep toddlers occupied while adults trim the actual family tree, with ornaments and branches designed not to break or scratch. Built-in storage holds the ornaments and train set inside the tree between seasons. Step2 builds it from double-walled plastic, the same construction the brand uses on its outdoor toys for durability.
- For ages 1.5 years and up
- Colorful plastic ornaments included
- Mini train set circles the tree skirt
- Dimensions 31 in H x 21 in W x 21 in D
Who it's for
Made for toddlers and preschoolers who want to take part in holiday decorating without handling fragile ornaments. Not a substitute for a real decorative tree, since it is a toy scaled and built for small hands.
Pros and cons
- No assembly required
- Ornaments and branches are toddler-safe, not fragile
- Built-in storage for ornaments and train set
- Double-walled plastic holds up over repeated seasons
- It is a toy scale tree, not real holiday decor
- Best suited to a narrow toddler to preschool age range
Performance notes
Double-walled plastic construction is what lets Step2 back this for years of reuse without the colors chipping or fading, the same molding approach the brand uses on its playsets. The included ornaments and train set snap on and off by design so toddlers can reset the tree repeatedly, and everything tucks into the built-in base storage when the season ends.
