Overview
A weekend trip on a carry-on allowance is what this Fila rolling duffel is sized for. The main compartment unzips fully for access, side pockets hold quick-grab items, and a bungee cord on top holds a jacket.
Light weight is the reason to buy, since a soft nylon duffel leaves more of the allowance for what you pack. The internal handle and outer pockets make it easy to move and sort. The limits are no water resistance and no listed wheel or warranty details.
Who it's for
Short trip flyers and students heading home for a weekend get a light bag with quick-access pockets. People who carry fragile items or travel in wet weather need a shell with more protection.
Pros and cons
- Light for a rolling bag
- Full zip main compartment
- Several side zippered pockets
- Top bungee holds a jacket
- Not water resistant
- Wheel type not listed
- Soft sides offer little protection
- Listed dimensions disagree with spec sheet
Performance notes
Packing access comes from the fully zippered main compartment, which opens wide instead of through a narrow top slot. The handle tucks into an internal system when stowed. Soft nylon flexes to squeeze into tight spaces but gives fragile items no shielding.
